FADV is reaching out to provide Psycho-Social support in the wake of COVID-19 emergency through Corona Care.
Corona Care is an initiative through a web portal that is powered by multiple entities in the social sector that aims at easing pain during this crisis. This technology platform has been developed to support the global community connecting virtually with Health professionals- Doctors including Psychiatrists and Clinical Psychologists willing to support this global ongoing pandemic situation by COVID-19.
Consultation virtual platform: It has a panel of the advisor which includes a group of medical professionals connected with more than 600 Hospitals and callers from any Country can call and consult on COVID-19. The consultant includes Doctors and clinical Psychologists working 24X7
Language supported: English, German, French, Spanish, Italiana, Philipino, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), Hindi, Bengali, Indonesian, Malayalam, Kenyan, and Tagalog.
Our Role:
- Providing Psychosocial First Aid and Clinical Psychologist support by FADV Psychosocial Counselor working 24X7 as an initiative of COVID-19 Response through a virtual platform
- FADV is supporting by receiving calls from different callers with language English, Hindi, and Bengali and switching them to different enlisted Doctors if required
- Awareness generation activities especially on Do’s and Don’ts
- Dissemination of Coronacare initiatives as COVID-19 humanitarian response through social media platforms in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Indonesia and through partners and other networks (Sphere India, Inter-Agency Groups, Humanitarian networks)
